Come and find us at the First Press Record Fair at the Prince Albert, Trafalgar Street, Brighton on Sunday December 1. Ben, Zak and Alex will be hosting The Record Album stall at what promises to be an exciting day for vinyl collectors. Here’s what the organisers say to expect from the fair, which runs from 12 to 4pm. Entry is free.
“Some new faces join us alongside some First Press favourites. Stocked crates will be across both floors from DJ Billy Nasty, Mr Bongo, Rob Life, Keyring Records, Union Lewes, Inverted Audio and Greg Phillips for the first time at the Albert, whilst First Press favourites David Loja, Vinyl Selecter and The Record Album will be on hand as ever to round out the line up.
We’re delighted to be on the airwaves with our partner Slack City Radio and all sets will be broadcast live on slackcity.org.uk and on DAB+ around the country, bringing you four DJs – John Warr, Record Caddy, Motor Skills and Paradise Noir – with a unique spread of genres and styles. Expect AfroBase, rare groove classics, funk, soul, breaks, acid jazz, experimental, post punk, electronic, darkwave, goth, synth pop, post-punk, EBM, coldwave, industrial, new romantic, dark electro, future pop, deathrock and more.”
