Come and find us at the First Press Brighton Record Fair at the Komedia Brighton on Sunday March 31. Ben, Zak and Alex will again be hosting The Record Album stall at what promises to be another exciting day for vinyl collectors. Here’s what the organisers say to expect from the fair, which runs from 10am to 3pm. Entry is free.
“First Press returns to Komedia on Sunday 31st March for another music filled afternoon of digging, DJs and vibes alongside some of Brighton’s finest record stores, sellers and labels!
We’ll have a great spread of crates for you to peruse, joined by legends such as Geoff Finch, The Record Album and Mrs. Canuitcaq’s own Josh Dean side by side with a new generation in the shape of Capsule Records, Union Lewes and David Loja as well as a selection of Brighton based labels including Jalapeno, Tru Thoughts, Freshly Squeezed and Hive Mind.
We’ll be broadcasting live with our partner Slack City Radio from 10am-3pm, with some of the stations finest joining us as well as sets from First Press and local vinyl legend Geoff Finch.
This time, we’re delighted to be sponsoring ‘Help Musicians’ – a charity dedicated to supporting young artists on their journey. You’ll find donation links around the event, which will give you the chance to donate to grass roots music whilst enjoying the second hand and new release vinyl – let’s help stock the shelves of tomorrow by supporting musicians on their journey.”
